Final major project (group project)
Role: Director & Producer, animator, character designer, layout artist, background designer, concept artist, sound designer & compositorSynopsis: Shelldon, a reclusive hermit from a vibrant coral reef, was traumatized by a pollution attack in his youth. Although he found peace in his shell-home, his fear lingered. When pollution threatened his community again, he had to choose between helping his community or staying safe.

About
Jessica Boyle is a London-born animator, illustrator and UAL Animation graduate. Inspired by wildlife, gardens and the quiet beauty of the natural world, she creates painterly illustrations and animation that encourage audiences to slow down, look closely and reconnect with nature.Working across traditional and digital media, Jess combines textured, atmospheric visuals with thoughtful storytelling. Her 2025 graduate film, Clammed Up, explored the impact of human activity on marine wildlife and reflects her ongoing interest in environmental storytelling.Jess is currently open to commissions, studio roles and collaborative opportunities across animation, illustration and games.
